Travelocity is actually doing just this - innovating how they reach people - and this Thursday The Roaming Gnome is hosting a TweetUp to reach out to early adopters with some beta products.

I think the instant desire from marketing execs to utilise it for direct market push is perhaps a little foolish. Start to spam someone with excessive link drivers and you can quickly lose followers.

Engage in conversation, or offer interviews/consultancy such as @gomedia and you&#039;re onto a winner!</description>
