Comcast Shares How Sender Score Works
Dec 24 2008
It is cool to see how Comcast is sharing how your email delivery works better with a higher Sender Score rating. We watch our IP Sender Scores all day long using ReturnPath and I love to see this sort of ISP transparency. I would hope that more ISPs could share how this impacts email delivery in 2009.
It just goes to prove that email reputation and best practices do make a difference.

Curious if we’re the only ESP with 100% deliverability as reported by SenderScore (http://budurl.com/100percent)… what’s your score?

Well how many IP addresses does your ESP use? Many use more than one and even more give dedicated IPs to clients in high volume/reputation reasons.
I know that daily we fluctuate on many of our IPs addresses based on volume and client complaints. Totally transparent here. Some are constantly at 100 and other go up and down between 75 and 100. Realy depends. Good question as if you have a constant 100 I would really be surprised. I will go check yours out.

Shannon I see that of the 8 IPs that display for your domain, that the highest you have right now is one at a 90, one at 80, some at 7, one at 0 and others with no sender score. Might want to check it out. But I looked up contactbuddy dot com.

I send across various IP’s and I throttle deliverability depending on what the ISP’s are doing aka yahoo.
Its difficult but mine ranges from 50 :( (I know)… all the way to 98%….
I like to be consistent and stay 75%+ but it’s difficult in the financial space and with our customer base :)

Hi there. We’re glad Sender Score is working out for you! Your IP does appear to be performing at a score of 90 at the moment.
